A choice-based writing tool and filetype. Intended to support writing game
dialog, but scales up to completely supporting text-based narrative games, (and
more, depending on the integrations.)
Originally developed by inkle.
There are some great talks showing it off at gdc conferences, etc.
A game jam for working with ink.
Seems to be somewhat regular, but there's one in August sometime that I'm targetting.
I tend to think more mechanics-driven or systems-driven, or instead tools driven
(like let's make it ink-based! now i can work on ink-things!)
Content-driven is a push back towards writing, towards stories, towards characters.
Let go of the overengineering! Cut corners and write stories again!

One of my favorite game moments is discovering new villages.
I feel compelled to create some virtual spaces that we can hang out in.
I want to fill them with characters you can chat with, maybe powered by some inky dialogue files.
Pretty raw for now.
