When I first encountered the second-brain movement, zettelkasten, org-roam, mind-gardens, all that jazz, I was struck by the clarity of this working-in-the-open idea.

Andy's Notes refer to it as working with the garage door up - like we're working on our cars, but not in secret. If anyone happens to be walking down the street, they can see what tools we're using and what the progress is like. They could even stop in to say hello!
