tags and links

In my garden, i tend to link things to 'root' or 'index' files quite often. Some or most of this might be conflated with tagging, but it's like the links are standing in for tags.

In clawe/defthing.db items, I want to be able to tag everything, for the purpose of linking. Screenshots, commits, todos - these are all linked to projects, to workspaces, etc. Tags seem like a simple way to support that linking.

So are these things the same? They likely need to support most of the same features.

E.x. show me items clustered by tag - similarly, show me items clustered by link.... hmm, the tags version of that might be more relevant for many items.

I suppose links give you neighbors, and degrees of neighbors.
