I'm obsessed with tooling and Clojure (especially
Babashka), and I love making games with Godot. I'm trying to
create a set of tools to for faster rapid-prototyping in Godot
(for game jams). I'm also constantly working on WM-level dev
tooling, on both Linux and OSX. Check out my streams on
twitch to see the workflows I've built up!
Lately, I'm bouncing between a few things:
- Game Jams on
itch.io
- Contributing to
Clojure/Babashka open-source tooling
- Building up Clawe to a
point where other folks can easily consume it's
features
- Building up org-blog to
make it easier to share all this with you!
All
my games and tools are open-source! Check them out on github
or play them on itch.io:
- russmatney.itch.io -
Some scrappy games I've submitted to game jams
- Clawe - a tool for
managing your window manager, supported by a clojure
repl
- Dino - a set of tools
for working with godot games, organized as a monorepo full of
example games
- org-crud and org-blog -
Clojure tools for working with and publishing emacs org
files
I
sponsor a few folks on github that have made a huge
difference for me - be sure to check them out:
- borkdude - creator of
babashka, which lets us use clojure basically
everywhere
- hlissner - creator of
doom emacs, which gives users best-in-class tooling for every
language out of the box
- pez - creator of clava,
the key to clojure's future in vscode (I don't use vscode,
but with calva it's at least a chance for people to see what
interactive programming is like)
- bbatsov - maintainer
behind much of clojure's emacs tooling
- thheller - maintainer
behind shadowcljs, which provides clojurescript integration
into the browser, node, and the entire js
ecosystem
- jethrokuan - maintainer
of org-roam, and therefore my whole second brain
welcome notes
Thank you so much for your patronage!
It's a huge motivation to me to have your support -
I'll have some progress to share soon!
Feel free to ping me wherever if you're interested
in more detail about what I'm up to!
