This idea has been floating around my head for a while. The thought comes from hotline miami's level layout - it's always just a house/building in some abyss. The question is - what if you could wander that abyss, and come upon another 'floating' level?

It's kind of dream-state-y. It's easily random. It gives me vapor-wave vibes.

It feels like it might serve some games/stories pretty well, as a mechanic and a minimalistic approach.

It could also be nice default for a level-explorer - why not throw every level in there and let people wander around?

It would ease the integration, creation, experiementation process, and probably decrease time-to-sharing.

Levels connected by no-mans-land/ink-questions?

The thought here was to decorate the 'abyss/void/space-between' with text, maybe even from ink-style story content.

Could we react/change the layout based on where the player walks? (walk-the-choices idea).
